Hope Hospice

Through a patient-centered and coordinated model of care, Hope Hospice’s care team attends to the unique physical, emotional and spiritual needs of each patient and family in any setting. Hope Hospice serves all who are eligible for hospice care, regardless of the complexity. When acute symptoms cannot be safely managed at home, Hope Hospice provides inpatient care at McCarthy Care Center, the area’s only specially-licensed, hospice inpatient unit providing short-term acute care for symptom management and stabilization. Hope Hospice is a Level Three provider of the We Honor Veterans program.

Massachusetts National Guard Family Program

The MANG FPO (MA National Guard Family Program) enhanced the regional concept of support with the addition of regionally based teams that address Assistance, Readiness and Resiliency for all our Servicemembers, Veterans, Military Families and Youth and Survivor Families in the state of Massachusetts. The MANG FPO's mission is to establish a viable Family Readiness Network which identifies multiple local, state and federal resources; empowers Military Families; enhances Quality of Life; and ensures both Guard and Family resiliency to promote the best in both.

Care Packages for survivors of suicide loss (sent by request to those who have lost someone to suicide) Free of charge unless sent out of state.

VET CENTER PROGRAM – Hyannis

An important part of the Vet Center’s mission is to care for war Veterans and their family members, including Gold Star Families.  We offer Bereavement Counseling to all immediate family members (including spouses, children, parents, and siblings) of Service members who die while serving on active service. This includes federally activated members of the National Guard and reserve components.

All services are free and confidential.

Among other things, we provide individual and group counseling as well as resource and referral Information.
